About the Event

This celebration is an acknowledgement of the Three Jewels of the awakened woman, known as Triratna {tree•raht•nah}. The Three Jewels are: the Teacher, the Teaching (Dharma), and the Sangha. Sangha is a sanskrit word that means "association," "assembly," or "community." Our Sangha is a community of friends and yogin alike seeking to practice dharma, the higher teachings or universal truths. The essence of a sangha is awareness, understanding, acceptance, harmony and love.

Join us for a night of connection, art, aromatherapy, meditation, live music, yoga, and delicious food.

Doors open @ 5:30pm. Activities will begin promptly at 6:00pm.

We will learn how simple it can be to make a Tub Tea using simple ingredients of gluten free oatmeal, salt, red moroccan clay, and dried herbs to draw toxins out of the physical body to prepare for the upcoming Spring season. Tub Teas are steeped in bathwater and contained in tea bag for easy clean up.

Yoga Practice | Practice this evening with be a warming practice with just enough effort to bring internal heat to the body to begin the purification process to the body. The internal fire is called agni. Winter is the time of deep growth of the unseen things. It is also a time of rest for rejuvenation. Savasana will include a rolled towel for neck support, and a cloth with a subtle aromatherapeutic scent to warm your senses and to open your heart. Soft live music will hold the space for a restorative savasana.

Ayurvedic Dinner, Dessert & Drink | Dinner will be Kitchari which is a balanced dish that helps purify and reduce inflammation. Dessert served will be Kheer Rice Pudding, and of course Chocolates. Warm Spiced Milk. Water is also be available.

Each guest will take home a small gift as a momento of our Sangha - together we can create a safe warm winter for ourselves to restore and rejuvenate.
